KTM Care distributes food parcels in villages surrounding Bodhgaya

Dear friends,

Here comes the end of confinement in India which brutally set up on the road millions of daily workers who, deprived of resources, joined their families fearing to starve. In fact arrived in their family that only increased the difficulties with hunger again and the dispersion of the virus which currently multiplies in the poor states in particular Bihar (Patna and Gaya).

Our Indian friends on the spot alerted us from the 2nd week of hunger which again reappeared not in Bodhgaya itself but especially in the very poor villages that our doctors were able to know. So individually and also collectively thanks to KTM we have contributed for about 2 months to urgent food aid. Each week a distribution of parcels was given to 200 families in villages in difficulty, including the ones near the Mahakala cave. The association received a financial contribution of Karmapa healthcare KHCP.

We would like to thank all the actors of this action (Rahul and his family, the KTM donors and Karmapa Healthcare). We also received a strong support from our president of honor H.E.Beru Khyentse Rinpoche for this action.

Here are some photos sent by Indian volunteers.
